Still nobody has commented on the noise at the end of the track which soundsike people chatting in a bar.
It's kinda out of place on the track, I could understand it if the track strarted this way but to end it like this is rather odd IMO
Roxy Music had a similar effect on 'Re make Re model ' from their early 70's debut, that had crowd noise in the intro and fade out and worked well.
It appears the YouTube clip has been removed, perhaps the band didn't put it up after all???

Don't know how anyone can dislike Mediterranea, it's even better than AYNIN and sounds just like a Rio B-Side. My favourite song at the moment, bar none.

I love the song... When I first heard it, the contrast between the chorus and the rest of the song sounded strange, but after a couple more listenings, i'm tottally into it! I love That contrast! Prevents the song from sounding boring. ...and if you can, listen the song in a proper hi-fi or with good speakers... The sound is amazing...

The beginning reminds me of "Be My Icon". Not bad, though.

not a bad song, but that cacophony at the beginning just kills it. That's the sort of noise that makes people say, "For gawd's sake, shut that crap off!" Not sure enough people will give the song a chance to make the thing a hit, after that horrendous opening.

The noise at the end reminds me of the "crowd noise" the beatles used in some of their songs.

Nothing new under the sun. These DD bashers should record the album and go on tour themselves.

The verse took me by surprise a little but you know what it works, it's edgy and different. The chorus is fantastic which I knew already but I love the fact that they didn't go with predictable verses to match.
It's a great Duran Duran song I hope the rest of the the record matches this quality, if it does were in for a treat!!

"Bashing" would be saying, "The band sucks and should all die horrible, painful deaths." I for one am not 'bashing' the band. I like Duran Duran. I don't like the song. I think everybody here has a Duran Duran song they don't like. And they all have the right to say so without getting attacked by others who can't tolerate dissent.

He liked it. He said the verses were sick, and the chorus was melodic. Most people will agree the verse and chorus sound like a mash up.
