I don't think I've read either but will get them from my library. I'm always open to political thought books. You must read Obama's book! I prefer it on audio so you can actually hear him say the words himself. Kind of brings a new meaning to it. I know you don't think I'm heartless but many here (and other far lefties) do. Not that I really care what they think of me but it just gets old. I'm a very giving person. I have gone out of my way to help those who weren't taking advantage of me and truly needed help. I totally believe giving should come through charity, not from taking it from us. I would have been much more charitable this year if I were able to. I had to cut down my charitable contributions due to getting hit hard financially over the last 3 years. And I had to quit volunteering due to having to get a job 3 years ago (instead of welfare-weird idea isn't it). I'm sure I'm not the only person this has happened to. I think destroying the middle class and continuously taking from us stops us from being able to donate, both monetarily and our time. The upside (said with sarcasm) is the govt hired lots of new welfare workers because the load has become so great. Pathetic when so many people are hurting so bad that there aren't enough employees to process the welfare applications. More govt jobs though...that's got to be good.  |

Surprised he didn't sent off some more to the publishers since then, like maybe 'Golf Courses & Predator Drones' or 'A Hawaiian Moon Before Police State Tyranny'. Awesome book titles! There is a book on Amazon titled Everything Obama Know About the Economy. It is 150 blank pages. Joking aside, she should read them both. They are both very informative and give us a lot of insight to his attitude towards the US and the purpose of his presidency. |

I've read Obama's book, I was referring to the other ones he mentioned. The welfare system is a mess and on another board I frequent this one woman (a working woman)lost her job and needed to get assistance and guess what she got? something like $100 a month in food stamps. This is someone who has worked since she was 16 and is now 50. Meanwhile all these people that have many kids (usually by different people)get all these goodies and refuse to work. Why would they when the government pays everything for them? Now the government pays for cell phones too and they want to pay for so many ridiculous things. I'd gladly give to the woman who lost her job and needs assistance but those milking the system? they bug me big time. I give a lot of money and time to various charities and see lots of people hurting but also see those who refuse to better themselves too. |

It's obvious he's narcisstic. He's on tv more than he's president. I bet after he is finished being president he goes into movies or something. Or maybe he can go into business with the corrupt Jesse Jackson family who should be in prison not in politics (of course in Illinois the two worlds are the same).

Oh the crazy is the Jackson crime family. Like the father who had a child out of wedlock or the son who redistricted my area so it would fall into his district so he could build the airport he wants that will bring more low income out here. Or perhaps his brothers who run an alcohol distribution center that has contracts with various areas. Or perhaps it's the other race baiter/minister (no not Wright)who managed to put all his friends from his church in the hr department of my former corrupt employer.
But I do find it odd that Obama is on more talk shows than Bush was. I was no fan of Bush, I thought he was a terrible president but Obama needs to do more like bring jobs home. In his state of the union he said he was working on this but I have doubts considering Timothy Geithner is a big fan of outsourcing and of course Obama brought in Inmelt who outsourced many jobs while CEO of GM.

Let's face it, the only good Oblunder has done is allowing his opponents to think up funny names for him, which are about endless. On the serious side, he has unified people against him and the mentally ill followers he has left, which otherwise would not have been possible.
