Our primary is in a few weeks and I doubt we'll see many ads because it doesn't matter who wins here Republican wise, he will never win Illinois in the general election. I'm only voting in the primary because they redistricted mine and out congressman is Jesse Jackson Jr, and he's a corrupt nasty far left race baiter. I will be voting for his opponent, a sane moderate Democrat and if she loses (and she likely will)I will either vote for the Republican candidate in November or third party, but will not vote Jackson.

Whew!! Glad that's over! Romney won, followed by Santorum, Paul and Gingrich. Paul and Gingrich didn't really campaign here, it was all more or less a slugfest between Romney and Santorum.
So far CNN has the estimated delegate count looking like this:
Romney--156, Gingrich--38, Santorum--37, Paul--27.

According to the radio in Illinois there is a split between Romney and Santorum. Illinois is interesting because it's a blue state but that is changing. Many life long Dems are becoming Reps.

Whew! Super Tuesday is over. Romney won six states, Santorum three, and Gingrich one (his home state of Georgia). Paul was shut out.
New delegate count from CNN: Romney 404; Santorum 165; Gingrich 106 and Paul 66.

March 20 is our primary and I wonder what will happen. I found out Santorum went to school in Illinois so I wonder if that makes a difference. I am voting in the primary because they redistricted my area so I fall into the jurisdiction of Jesse Jackson jr who I despise and whom is an adulterer (apple doesn't fall far from the tree)and a criminal for trying to buy Obama's seat. He was able to change the districts so he could build this airport. I am voting for his sane moderate opponent. Now Jackson is running ads stating his opponent is bad because she supports gun rights. Yes supporting gun rights is bad, let's just allow gang members to have them. I'm sure Jackson would be fine with that since they are probably his supporters since he loves trash (never met a tax increase he didn't like). If he wins as I expect he will I will vote for his Republican opponent in November. I don't care who his Republican opponent is I want Jackson in prison where he belongs with his immoral criminal background (like good old dad).

Romney has won Illinois. So has criminal Jesse Jackson jr, ugh. I don't get this state at all they vote for alleged crooks because they are the same race as them. In another district an arrested congressman is running against another Democrat (a former Republican)but because the criminal is black the Democratic Party endorsed him. WTF? Then people why I now despise the Dems like I do the Reps.

Rick Santorum dropped out of the race today, effectively giving Romney the nomination.

Romney will lose to Obama in the general election and either way we are screwed in this country.
Oh did everyone hear about the Wisconsin governor and how he blocked the equal pay act? What an ass. Is Romney supports this he will lose the women vote because even the most conservative women support being paid the same as men for the same job. This hits a raw nerve as I am a woman who was discriminated against for being a woman and paid less than my male coworkers.

Yes we have this crap over here. Someone said school dinner ladies should be paid the same as bin men, because the jobs are the same!!!.
Who are they kidding??!!..... the dinner ladies get school holidays and warm friendly working environments from about 12noon to 2:00pm. The men get freezing conditions from about 6:00am in the morning, with no school holidays and work on Boxing Day.
If the jobs are the same, then rotate them. One month as bin man - one month in warm school.
