Yuck, I hate White Castle. I'm glad I'm not the only one. Those things are nasty.

I really miss White Castle Burgers as a result of living in Saint Paul, Minnessota. I also really miss Mock Baby Ruth Cookies from Cow Chip Cookies and Krispy Kreme doughnuts. I know Krispy Kreme Doughnuts are everywere, but not in North Spoghetto.

When I was in England, I had to have care packages mailed to me. I had to have: -UTZ BBq potato chips -Suburban Almond Smash soda and as soon as I stepped on Maryland soil I had to have Steamed Crabs and a cold beer.

When I was growing up in FL, there was an small family-owned orange grove about a mile from our house. We used to walk up every other Saturday and buy a couple gallons of the fresh-squeezed juice. I heard it's since been bought up and turned into a housing development. And I really miss this place called Ya Ya's Chicken. Edit: moved the 80's foods to the appropriate thread

In Youngstown we have things that everyone around here automatically thinks all people have. We have cookie tables at weddings (I found out this is not the norm at a few out of town weddings I have been too) and wedding soup is a staple. We are also known for our brier hill pizza. Personally, I know I could never live without Wedgewood pizza a local place. You mean they don't have cookie tables everywhere? The horror! Seriously, I thought it was a fixture. I can't stand pizza, but I do enjoy Handel's ice cream the few occasions that I stop back in Y-town. I didn't even think about Handels being an outside thing. Oh wow. I know they opened locations outside of Ohio. Not sure where though. you'll have to check their website. I do believe they ship ice cream now edited to add the web addy www.handelsicecream.com/home/index.html

^ Yeah, they have a Handel's in Columbus, but I don't know if it's still around. Sorry to say, Graeters is better (at least when it comes to the flavors I like).

to be honest, i don't see the hype in handels. I have tasted ice cream that is just as good at a lot of other places. Maybe I am not eating the right flavors.

"Discs of Puke on Tiny Buns" would be a far more fitting name for those things sold by White Castle, because they sure as shit aren't hamburgers in any sense. I'd die of alcohol poisoning before I could drink enough to keep those things in my stomach.

It may sound REALLY silly; but I miss Kandy Korn! I love the stuff. Most Canadians aren't into it, and it's REALLY hard to find!
