See.....our challenge is to find something that we both DON'T like (seriously, across the board....both of us with pretty varied musical tastes across the map - it's a bit uncanny at times that we like the same exact stuff......right down to Cherry Coke zero!). You buying the Six Million Dollar Man and Bionic Woman dvds when they come out this fall? Six Million Dollar Man I could get into...I never really was into Bionic Woman. I liked the Bigfoot episodes though...LOL! Oh...and the Death Probe...who could not love the Death Probe? LOL! I didn't know those were coming out on DVD though! That's cool! I assume these are both season one? Universal is ticking me off though -- I'm still waiting for Night Gallery, Season III. They've always treated Night Gallery like an ugly stepchild at Universal. Anyway, yeah...we've got a lot in common. Runway. ;D Six Million Dollar Man is going to be one big set (40 discs!) with every episode, including the Bionic Woman crossovers: www.tvshowsondvd.com/news/Six-Million-Dollar-Man-The-Complete-Series/14119The Bionic Woman will be released by season, starting with season one in October.

Very cool! It'll be expensive though. That's what kept me from buying the original Galactica series. But, I'll check out the link.

I agree about The Globe Sessions. I think that it and the one before ( Sheryl Crow) were masterfully written, played, and produced albums, and the fact that she did the bulk of all three things was a great "in your face" to those who claimed that she rode to fame on others' coat tails with Tuesday Night Music Club. Then, C'monC'mon seemed to struggle with the weight of living up to those two (plus she had found happiness with Lance Armstrong, and as much as I usually hate this cliche (I love plenty of cheesy, happy music), her music had much more weight, power, and poignancy before that (when she was down over her breakup with Clapton). Since then, nothing she's done has captured my attention anywhere close to SC and TGS! Those are my two favorites also errbt. She was lyrically deeper on those two in a very laid back/not trying to show off kinda way and the music was great. She's got a great guitarist, Jeff Trott, who's co-written a lot of her stuff. I think the last album I bought by her was Wild Flower.....not terrible or anything, but no where near as good as SC or TGS.

I think she was going through her breakup with Armstrong and her cancer ordeal when she made WF. It's not an upbeat album for sure. Runway. LOL!

Ha! Yeah...LOL! Good stuff. At one point I had import versions of all their albums.... There's a boxed set of the re-releases of their first several albums (up thru Here's to Future Days) that are all double cds with extra tracks. If you're interested, go to amazon.com and look up Thompson Twins Box Set. Amazon is selling it for $52, but you can buy it from one of their sellers for $27 + 3 shipping. I got it earlier this year......good stuff.

Tange, you are the man with his ear down to the ground on all the cool new releases. $52 is very reasonable for all that! I paid like $35 for that Arcadia remaster...

Yep, love Trott's playing...his slide parts on Every Day Is a Winding Road put an already great song over the top into epic territory! He does a great job with high backing vocals live on songs like The Difficult Kind as well! ps I was in love with the Bionic Woman as a kid. pps Come to think of it, Sheryl Crow kind of looks like Lindsay Wagner! ppps As if Everyday Is a Winding Road wasn't amazing enough, we got the added bonus of watching Sheryl looking as fine as any woman has a right to in that brilliant sepia toned video. ;D ppps Runway.

Sheryl looks great, but ya know with all this fixation about toilet paper she has...LOL! That's gotta be scaring any potential boyfriends away. It would scare me away. LOL! No way I would go near that.
Anyway -- Lindsay Wagner looked good back then, but I've always been partial to Lynda Carter. :-)
